Reed and W.H. Frost. If you did not yet do so, please visit first tutorial no. 1.       This interactive simulation assumes that the epidemics occurs first in a small village (N = 1000 individuals) starting from a single case of the disease; after some serial generation times, an affected individual carries the disease to a nearby village of the same size starting the epidemics there.       At the beginning of the epidemics all individuals are susceptibles; they they pass through the irreversible sequence Susceptible - Affected - Immune.       Please choose the serial generation time at which the epidemic is transferred from the first to the second village: 5 ; 3 ; 2 Back to main page.
